night scenes

It is nighttime in our abode. The children are sleeping. The last thing Ezra said to me was an announcement that the " tachu Buddha ish jeeping" which means of course, " the statue of Buddha is sleeping". This refers to the statue of Buddha in the much coveted atlas that Henry received for Christmas last year from his Uncle G and Aunt G. This atlas looks at least ten years old. It was in the bathroom for a few months keeping Henry company during his especially private moments in the bathroom. Now it is at the top of the " to be mended" book pile. But I digress, it is quiet. I am going to bed soon. We are playing our nighttime classical music which has Mozart and Debussy and others that are reminiscent of the movie Out of Africa. Candles are lit. Goodnight.
